2045 Comprehensive Plan

2045 Comprehensive Plan

The Comprehensive Plan is the City of Buford's overarching policy statement and blueprint for the community's future.  It is a high-level, "big picture" look at Buford's direction for the next 20 years.  The plan will be a result of the community's collaborative efforts to envision the future of Buford, including contributions from community members, the steering committee, elected officials, City staff, and the planning team.

PUBLC HEARING #2

November 6, 2023

7:00pm

Buford City Hall

Buford citizens are invited to continue participation in a planning process for the City of Buford’s Comprehensive Plan update. This planning process will ensure quality growth, assist the City in prioritizing the spending of funds, and coordinate future development efforts. A draft will be made available to the public on November 7, 2023 for the community to review and provide comments.

This is your opportunity to share ideas, voice concerns, and describe your vision for Buford over the next five to ten years! The City of Buford encourages all interested parties to take part in this process. The consultant, TSW, will be present at the City Commission meeting on November 6, 2023, to present the Comprehensive Plan updates, answer questions, and accept feedback from the community.

Citizens who are unable to attend this hearing but would like to provide comments regarding the plan can contact Bryan Kerlin, City Manager, by e-mail at bkerlin@cityofbuford.com. Comments can also be mailed to Mr. Kerlin’s attention at 2300 Buford Highway, Buford, Georgia 30518.
