FOR SALE OF REAL PROPERTY

Sagefield Drive and Oakland Avenue
The Buford Downtown Development Authority (hereinafter the “City”) is accepting sealed bids/proposals for the purchase of a certain parcel of land consisting of 0.70 acres +/-, parcel 7301 157 in Buford, Gwinnett County, Georgia.
All bids shall be received by 10:00 a.m. on May 24, 2024 at Buford City Hall, 2300 Buford Highway, Buford, Georgia. The envelope shall bear the name “Sagefield Drive and Oakland Avenue Bid Proposal” and shall be sealed. Bids/Proposals shall provide the total proposed purchase price and the use of the property. Bids shall be accompanied with refundable earnest money equaling five percent (5%) of the proposed purchase price in certified funds. Earnest money shall be fully refunded to all unsuccessful bidders and to the highest responsive bidder if the parties are unable to close.
The Bidder(s) will present to the
City at a public meeting at a time to be determined. The prevailing bid/proposal, based on price
and use/development of the property, shall enter into a contract and. be
afforded an exclusive thirty (30) day period in which to close on the property. The closing date may be extended at the
discretion of the City.

at (770) 945-6761. The sealed bids/proposals
shall be opened and read aloud on Friday, May 24, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Buford
City Hall. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
